A Fresh Homeschool Start

Since we managed to get locked out of our old blog thanks to having to change accounts....I thought it was time to start a new one :-)

Our homeschool journey began last year and was such an answer to prayer that we are again planning, by God's grace, to homeschool again this year. With a new year comes some changes - of course :-) French and All About Spelling are new additions and to fit them in our schedule has of course also changed!

Last Autumn, we tried to stick to a rigged hour by hour schedule, and discovered that it just stressed out Mummy and kidlets! So everything is just an idea - NOT ideal! and we just work with it and wing it and get through the day. If math takes twice as long, fine - that's great it means some hard learning is going on - and we simply push everything down a bit. Another lesson learned last year was to only write in 1 weeks lesson plan at a time, because Murphy's Law would always strike when we did longer then that - and never, ever use pen!

So without further to do here is the idea so far for this year:
